Registration process

How can I register for PD Week 2025?

We recommend that attendees verify whether their employer is organizing a group purchase of conference passes. If that’s the case, please contact the group coordinator who will be able to complete your registration.

Both groups and the individual buyer may complete the registration online at pdweek.ca/pricing-registration. A step-by-step registration guide is here.

Is tax added to the posted registration cost?

\Yes, 13% HST is added in addition to the cost of each registration.

Can I purchase a pass for more than one day?

Attendees can purchase 1, 2, 3, and 4 day passes for this year’s event. They may also select one of the following formats to attend:

1) In-Person with On-Demand** pass

2) On-Demand** Only pass

** On-Demand access to purchased content begins November 24, 2025, with 3 months to watch (and re-watch) until February 27, 2026

Do names of registrants need to be provided at the time of registration?

If an attendee is purchasing an individual pass for themselves, they will need to provide their contact details at the time of registration.

If purchasing passes for a group, you don’t need to provide each registrants’ info when you buy the block of passes, they can be input after the completion of the order through your FMI account. It is highly recommended that the passes be assigned as soon as possible to avoid attendees not receiving the day of their choice. See important dates and deadlines.

Can login information be shared between individual registrants?

Login access rights are specific to the registered individual; only the person whose name is tied to the registration will be able to access the profile and will solely be the one to receive the CPD credits.

Group registration

How do I qualify for Group Registration?

To qualify for a group registration, you must register a minimum of 5 participants. Combining orders to a total of 5 or more will not qualify for the discount. The order must be received in bulk of 5 or more to receive the $50 discount. When an order includes 5 or more registrants the group discount is automatically applied and reflected on the invoice.

If you are an individual, we would recommend that you reach out to your department’s training personnel to be part of the department’s group order. There are known Group Coordinators established in the larger departments, however, anyone can be a group coordinator.

To get on our Group Coordinator list, please contact registrar@fmi.ca to receive ongoing PD Week communications.

What is the group registration process?

For group orders, you can register your group online directly (https://pdweek.ca/pricing-registration/)  and it will apply the $50 per pass discount when applicable.

You do not need the names of your attendees to make the purchase of your passes, however, should you have them, you can assign the passes before checking out of your registration.  If you do not have the names, we recommend you assign them as you receive them or immediately after your purchase to avoid any of your attendees not being able to choose their preferred day selection.  Access to your FMI account will be provided in the confirmation email sent from our registration system.  You will be able to assign your passes once the order is placed.

How do attendees receive their passes?

Passes must be assigned by the Group Coordinator/purchaser. Once a registration order has been completed a confirmation email is sent to the Group coordinator/purchaser with their login link to access their Member Profile. From there registrant names can be added/updated.

To get into the Member Profile, select login as “first time” to be able to update your password to continue. Click on the REGISTRATION tab once in there and select the event PD WEEK ##, then Click on Expand, and it will display all your passes – it does take time to load. Please bookmark this link for future use and ensure you are not connected to VPN when assigning or transferring passes.

Once the pass is assigned, each of your attendees will receive their own confirmation email and be able to login to their own profile through the same link to change their day selection should it be required. Please note that in-person event badges are provided to attendees at time of the event.

How do our attendees receive their passes?

Physical (printable) passes or electronic passes are not provided for PD Week.

Once a pass has been paid for and assigned to an individual they will receive a confirmation email. The confirmation email includes access instructions to their FMI account. Individual attendees can login to their account to review their registration and contact details.

Payments

You can easily pay your invoice in the following ways

NOTE: Registration is not completed until payment is received.  Payment must be received 10 days (Nov. 4, 2025) prior to the start of the Event (Nov. 18, 2025) for us to be able to provide access to your attendees. Unpaid registrations can lead to denial of event entry.

  1. By EFT/Direct Deposit –     Transit # 00576    Branch # 003    Acct # 1019231  Click Here for VOID Cheque
    • Once your payment is processed, we ask that you please send us a REMITTANCE as Proof of Payment, including reference to this invoice # to payments@fmi.ca. Failure to send the remittance will result in delays in “closing out the invoice” in the system.  All government direct deposits display as “Federal Government” without any other detail. Your remittance email is key!
  2. By credit card – Should your credit limit be less than your anticipated order, you will need to either split the order into your allowable limit (with tax) or make payment by EFT/Direct Deposit.

To receive the reset email, you must use the email used for your registration.  Please also check your spam/junk folder or verify with your IT department of any restrictions.

Can I exchange or split a multiple day pass with others on my team?

Am I able to select the sessions I wish to attend?

There is no selection process for sessions. The sessions available to you correspond to the day you have selected, and attendance in each session is based on a first-come, first-served basis.  If the capacity in the session is met, you can move to the next available session. As this year’s In-Person pass now includes On-Demand you will be able to view and review any sessions you may have missed.

On-demand access

When does On-Demand Access begin?

On-Demand starts the week following PD Week, beginning Monday, November 24, 2025, and will run for 3 months to February 27, 2026.

When do I receive my On-Demand Access?

You will receive login information by email from our event platform Pheedloop on November 24, 2025, to access the sessions recordings. Please look for the email directly from Pheedloop as it may have gone to your spam.

Note that you will only have access to the recordings for the day(s) that you are registered for.

If you have pop ups disabled on your browser you will not see the notification window, nor will you see pop ups on the videos. Please make sure you do not have these disabled. If so, change your settings or try a different browser or device.

How do I confirm my attendance for On-demand viewing of each session?

Once you have logged into the event portal Pheedloop, you will receive a pop-up notification to accept all notifications. You must click yes to these notifications. During each video session an attendance pop-up will appear. You must confirm your attendance at the time of that pop-up. Note that fast-forwarding the videos will stop the pop-ups from appearing. Should you miss this pop-up your CPD credit will not be awarded, and you will be required to view the session once more and accept the pop-up to get the credit.

How do I access the presentation materials?

They will be posted to the Pheedloop platform as they are uploaded after the in-person event ends.  Please check back later if materials are not available at the time you login, as you have until February 27, 2026, to access the portal. NOTE: Not all presenters provide their materials.

How can I download my CPD Certificate?

You will be provided with a link to log into the Pheedloop event platform where you will be able to view and download your CPD Certificate. To download your CPD Certificate, click on the Account Tab on the left-hand menu. From there your profile page is opened. Why is my password not working?

Please make sure you are disconnected from VPN, using the preferred browser – Chrome, and the email address used for your registration is accurate. You may wish to reset the password with the reset link of the login page.

Why am I not able to play the video?

To play the video, you must have access to the day of that session, and you must be disconnected from VPN.  If you continue to be unable to view the video, it is likely a firewall restriction on your system.  You will need to reach out to your IT Department or view content from a personal computer.

Why am I not able to view the session(s) I click on?

There may be a few reasons why you are unable. Please be sure you have logged in with the email used for your registration and the on-demand access corresponds to the day(s) you registered for. It could also be a firewall issue within the browser setting should you be using a work device. Try it on a personal device or contact your IT Department for assistance.

CPD credits

Certificates are available on the Pheedloop event platform until the end of the on-demand period: February 27, 2026.

CPD hours for one pass cannot be split between 2 or more people – they are allocated to the person whose email is assigned to the pass in the system.  Should the pass be transferred to another recipient, the new email recipient will receive the CPD Credits.

How many CPD hours can be completed each day of the conference?

By purchasing a day pass, attendees have access to a maximum of 8 hours of CPD.
With the 4 Day All Access Pass, attendees can earn up to 32 hours of CPDs.

How will attendees access their earned CPD information?

Certificates are available through the online event portal Pheedloop from November 24, 2025 until February 27, 2026. Our system will generate CPD Certificates based on in-person attendance and/or online login and check-in acceptance for on-demand viewing.

What are CPD credits used for?

If you are a member of a professional designation (like CPA or CIA), where you are required to take a certain amount of learning and development annually as part of retaining your professional designation, the career professional development hours certification is your proof of the learning hours earned through PD Week.

If not a member of a professional designation, the certificate can simply be used to show your employer that you attended the learning they paid for.
