Share the vision. Shape the future.

PD Week is the #1, CPD earning event for public sector financial management professionals at all stages of their career in Canada.

This year’s theme is “Share the vision. Shape the future.” Over the course of four themed days, you will get fresh perspectives on the big picture and drivers of public sector change – impacts of hybrid work models, AI, diversity, data security, modernization, collaborative tools and many others.

In addition to seeing inspiring, world-class keynote speakers, you will enjoy many networking opportunities and focused workshops led by recognized experts. These are guaranteed to provide important opportunities to engage in future looking conversations with presenters, colleagues, and other public sector professionals from all levels of government, and from across Canada.

Please join us at this year’s event as we bring some of the most sought-after experts together to discuss how the public sector is changing and what you can do professionally AND personally to thrive in unprecedented change. This means for your career as a financial management professional.

4 major themes

Speakers and sessions are again organized around four compelling themes to bring you practical information that is immediately useful – and insights on powerful trends that are transforming how we think, how we work, and how we bring productivity to the highest levels possible.

“I am so honored to be this year’s honorary chair of FMI. My first involvement with FMI PD week was when I joined the Federal Public Service back in 2009. I was a member of the FMI PD Week Organizing Committee for several years and always found it exhilarating to see all of our hard work and planning come to fruition and see our participants enjoy their session and networking.

On a personal note, FMI PD Week allows me to connect with so many of my Finance colleagues that I don’t get to see often and meet new Finance professionals. I always love attending the Human Dimension day as it allows me to reflect both personally and professionally.”

Honorary Chair, Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Finances, Results and Deliver Officer with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada
