Tomasz Popiel

Senior Director, Financial Management Policy, Office of the Comptroller General

Since 2009, Tomasz has had diverse roles in several departments working in internal audit, financial accounting and reporting as well as in financial management advisory and resource management. Most recently, Tomasz led the financial management advisory, costing and cabinet submissions teams at the Public Health Agency of Canada as significant and rapid investments were made in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tomasz joined the Office of the Comptroller General in May 2023.

Tomasz completed his business degree at York University and received his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in Ottawa.
