Roxanne Anderson is the CEO of March Advisory Inc., a retired managing partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”) and the past Chair of the Board of the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research.
Currently, Ms. Anderson sits on Departmental Audit Committee of Shared Services Canada and several private sector boards, the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group’s Board and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Institute of Corporate Directors for the Ottawa Chapter. Ms. Anderson was also a board member and treasurer of the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation.
Ms. Anderson has been engaged in financial management transformation in the private and public sectors. While at PwC, Ms. Anderson was the National Leader of PwC’s Canadian Federal Government Services Practice, and consequently understands the issues of the federal government and the viewpoints of the communities affected. She has led a wide range of multidisciplinary projects to assist the federal government in the areas of financial management transformation as well as policy and strategic advice. One of her projects was the accrual appropriation study.
Ms. Anderson is Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (1987), holds a Bachelor of Commerce (1985) and a Masters of Business Administration (1988). Ms. Anderson is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors and Rotman School of Management’s Directors Education Program and holds ICD.D designation (2013).
