Michel Turbide began his career in the public service as a contracting officer with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
In 2005, Michel took his career on a different path and began supporting procurement operations as departmental financial systems officer. Over time, Michel took on more challenging roles including a management role with the Integrated Finance and Material System (IFMS) Program Office where he was responsible for the development of common configuration of the Asset Accounting, Plant Maintenance and Materials Management modules of SAP.
In 2015 Michel joined the PSPC’s Acquisitions Program Transformation Sector and began working on the e-Procurement Solution (EPS). During this time, Michel has focused on change management, and modernizing procurement activities through business process re-engineering.
