Jacques Cormier began his career in the public service at Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), where he held various roles within finance, IT and corporate branches.
In 2007, Jacques moved into the finance shop at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), where he held positions in finance and accounting banking and compensation. In 2010, Jacques took on the role of Director General of Enterprise Resource, Planning, Financial Procurement System.
Since 2014, Jacques has been in the role of Director General of National Financial Advisory Services (NFMAS) at PSPC, where he provides ongoing and timely high-quality financial and investment advice for PSPC.
Jacques received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Moncton, as well as his Chartered General Accountant Designation in 1998.
