Actor & Film Producer
Born in 1976 in Saint Jérôme, Que., Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge has worked in the arts for 35 years. He has been involved in nearly 50 films and television series and has also distinguished himself on stage.
A true jack-of-all-trades, Guillaume has proven his versatility time and again: actor, host, acrobat, gymnast, spokesperson, dancer and even a singer on occasion. Over the course of his career, he has been nominated many times for his acting performances and his work in directing. He also distinguished himself on the Plains of Abraham stage as host of Quebec national holiday celebrations (2008-2010 and 2017-2018). As a collaborator, he was also involved in the creation of the Cirque du Soleil Kà show in 2001. Since 2011, he has appeared in theatres across the province as a cast member of the hit play Ladies’ Night, and in 2018 he became producer and actor in a new production, Fais-toi une belle vie.
In addition to his many engagements as an actor, Guillaume produced close to 40 episodes of the series 30 vies from 2013-2015. He also produced episodes of Unité 9 and the teen series Subito Texto. He has been involved in several charitable and humanitarian causes such as Opération Enfant Soleil (host for five years), the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie race (for three years) and UNICEF. Guillaume also co-founded the X-Quive Foundation, whose mission is to combat psychological distress and curtail students from dropping out of school.
An avid skydiver for many more than 20 years — and 2,000 jumps — he co-founded his own parachuting school, Voltige. His passion for skydiving also led him to become an airplane and helicopter pilot.
